Sozon C. Vatikiotis

Sozon C. VatikiotisSozon C. Vatikiotis (pronounced So-zone Vatee-key-otis) grew up in the coastal community of Tarpon Springs, Florida. He can fish, swim, dive and snorkel better than anyone we know, but Soz insists he's just average for a Springs kid. After graduating from Tarpon Springs High in 1999, he headed to Stetson University in DeLand where he graduated with a B.A. in History and a minor in Communications.

His talent for litigation appeared early in his law career, actually about age three if his mom, Dolly, is to believed. Once he got to Stetson Law, Sozon went right to the top and stayed there. He received the coveted Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy upon his graduation (with honors) from Stetson University College of Law in 2005.  Soz became an associate with Miller, Crosby & Miller upon his admission to the Florida Bar in April, 2006.

Today, he puts those same research, persuasion and oratorical skills to work for clients. Soz  handles general civil litigation cases, with an emphasis on real property and commercial disputes. Winning, however, is his favorite.

In addition, he's a much-requested counsel for help with estate planning issues including wills, trusts, probate, guardianship, and elder law.

Sozon resides in Lakeland, Florida with his wife, Stephanie, whom he met while attending Stetson University. Sozon and Stephanie have pretty much the most beautiful kid in the world, and Soz is quick to admit that she looks like her mom. An avid outdoorsman, Sozon spends every free minute with his family and friends enjoying the water and woods around the Lakeland area (and anywhere else that will let him splash, shoot or rev a boat motor).

And yes, Stephanie can beat him in basketball!
