Philip H. "Phil" Bush
Philip H. "Phil" Bush was born in Annapolis, Maryland and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. A1988 Furman University graduate, he received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1991 and moved to Lakeland where he was in private practice for 14 years before joining Peterson & Myers, P.A. in September of 2005.
A partner-level attorney with more than 20 years’ experience in all facets of real estate law, business transactions, and banking law, Phil's experience includes commercial real estate development, leasing, commercial lending and landlord/tenant matters, and he is an approved agent for Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. In short, Phil has an abundance of experience in a wide variety of real estate and business transactions with which Miller, Crosby & Miller is proud to be associated. Although Phil operates his practice under a separate professional association from MCM, their close working relationship allows for the kind of exchange of ideas that leads to stronger client results for all.
Phil is a member of the Florida Bar, the real property trust and probate section of the Florida Bar, and the Lakeland Bar Association. An active Lakelander, Phil is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Polk Theatre, a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XII and has been a VISTE board member since 2012.
Phil is married to Stefanie, and the couple have two children, Catherine and Alexander. When not working, Phil enjoys playing golf and running.
